there we go hey what's that over there if you guys are like me you are excitedly counting down the days until christmas but waiting can be really hard but even when the waiting is difficult do you ever really doubt that christmas day is coming of course not but the season of waiting does remind me of god's people who were waiting for the savior king that god had promised them and some of them had to wait a long time but they were trusting in the promise of god and then one day it happened jesus was born into the world to be the savior of the world but in a way we too are waiting for our savior you see after jesus died on the cross and rose again and before he went up to heaven he promised that one day he would return philippians chapter 3 verse 20 says this our citizenship is in heaven and from it we await a savior the lord jesus christ just like the people long ago we have the promise of god that we are waiting for and hoping in great anticipation until the day that jesus comes again so even though it can be hard enjoy this season of waiting and go spread some of that christmas cheer i'll see you guys next time god bless you have a good one you
