Introduction

As we gather today, I reflect on our journey of faith and transition into a new building after much hard work and dedication. The construction we embarked on in December 2024 culminated in occupancy a year later. Throughout this process, our reliance on God's faithfulness has deepened, reminding us that He is at work among us and has placed us strategically in downtown Nampa. We are grateful not only for the physical space but also for the opportunity to impact lives through ministries that will arise from our new home. In this moment of transition, we also remember the legacy we leave behind at the school that has nurtured us and the community we have built together.

Main Points

As We Reflect On The Construction

As we reflect on the construction of the new building, it becomes clear that God’s faithfulness has been evident from the outset. Each obstacle we faced led us into prayer, where we found strength and encouragement.

  • This process established a unique bond among us as we volunteered and rallied together, showcasing how God utilizes our collective efforts for a greater purpose.
  • The experience has profoundly increased my faith and trust in God’s plan, reaffirming the belief that He equips us to fulfill His mission even amidst uncertainty.
  • While we prepare to enter a new chapter, it is essential to honor the legacy we created together.
  • Our time at the school was marked by genuine connection and perseverance, from our humble beginnings to our current participation as a church family.

Acknowledging The Support We Received From

Acknowledging the support we received from the principal and the school administrators, we desire to leave a lasting impact, such as establishing a scholarship in honor of our community. This scholarship would recognize students who exemplify outstanding character, aligning our values with our actions in a meaningful way.

  • As we transition to a new phase in our teaching, it's vital to cultivate a sound understanding of Scripture, especially as we move into a deeper study of the Book of Revelation.
  • Specifically, we’ve explored two theological frameworks that exist within Protestant evangelicalism: covenant theology and dispensational theology.
  • By understanding these differing perspectives, we can better appreciate our approach to interpreting Scripture and recognize the shared beliefs that unite us with others in faith.
  • It is a reminder to approach these discussions with humility, acknowledging our brothers and sisters in Christ, even when we may disagree on particular interpretations.

Reflecting On The Theme Of Israel

Reflecting on the theme of Israel, I encourage you to remember that God is not done with His chosen people. Romans 11 emphasizes this, urging us not to become arrogant but rather to understand the mystery of God’s plan. He has preserved a remnant and has promised that all Israel shall be saved (Romans 11:26). As Christians, we should approach the matter of Israel with both prayerful discernment and love, affirming God’s ongoing covenant with them without falling prey to worldly misconceptions. In the current media landscape, it is vital to discern where we receive our information and how we allow it to shape our views, especially regarding Israel and other nations. Are we holding Israel to a different standard than we do with others?

We Must Be Vigilant In Our

We must be vigilant in our evaluations, utilizing the same criteria we apply to other nations in our assessments of Israel. The call is clear: to root our understanding in God’s Word rather than in popular rhetoric that may misrepresent His truths. In times of confusion and noise from various platforms, the question remains: What does Scripture say? When faced with doubts or differing opinions, let us anchor ourselves in the truth of the Bible. Engaging deeply with God's Word will sharpen our discernment and help us withstand the onslaught of misleading narratives. I urge each of you to prioritize your study of the Scriptures, as they are the foundation of our faith and the ultimate authority on all matters.

Conclusion

As we conclude this reflection, I hope you grasp the significance of our commitment to God's faithfulness, Scripture, and the legacy we are building together. We are at a significant juncture as a church, embarking on new endeavors while rooting ourselves in the promise of God’s ongoing work. Let us pray for God's guidance in this new phase, for the people of Israel, and a deeper understanding of His Word, encouraging one another to shine His light in this world.
